Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) replace a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) at the water meter (attaching it to the existing Schedule 40 PVC pressure outside main water supply line with new Schedule 40 PVC pressure piping and fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve) due to low water pressure in the building; 2) remove and replace the Sloan flush valve assemblies on two Kohler commercial toilets; 3) replace a three-compartment stainless-steel kitchen sink's PVC air gap assembly and hard-pipe it into the sink's drain in the wall; and 4) install a new water pressure tank using copper ProPress fittings.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard. Upon digging down to the leaking section of drainpipe, we found that it was Orangeburg pipe connected to a grease trap. We dug up the grease trap so we could remove its lid and stub-in a new 4-inch PVC pipe, connecting onto the existing Orangeburg pipe with a new Fernco coupling. We then sealed where the new pipe exited the grease trap with hydraulic cement and tested for leaks and proper drainage. Lastly, we covered up the new pipe and grease trap. We also provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from the town sewer tap to the home to expose and replace the Orangeburg main outside sewer septic drain line with new PVC piping and fittings along with installing proper cleanouts and fittings per code.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak underneath a two-compartment stainless -steel kitchen sink. Our inspection found that the leak was coming from the faucet's hot- and cold-side plastic water supply lines. We removed and replaced the water supply lines with new stainless-steel ones along with replacing the hot- and cold-side water supply stops (cutting them from the polybutylene piping coming up from the floor and converting to PEX piping and fittings). We tested for leaks with no further issues.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged bathtub/shower drain. We used a sewer machine down through the bathtub's overflow and cleared the blockage. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the bathtub/shower's drain assembly, P-trap, and drain line through the floor to under the house in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings.

Pride Plumbing responded to a sewage backup in the home. After inspecting, we found the septic tank full. We called in our septic pumping truck, uncovered the septic tank, removed its lid, pumped it out, cleaned the tank’s filter, ensured proper drainage and flushing, reset the lid, and covered the tank back up.

Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a washing machine’s boiler drains (this included cutting out and replacing the boiler drains with new ones and replacing short sections of their hot- and cold-water supply lines coming up through the floor with new PEX piping and fittings). We then replaced the hot- and cold-water supply lines going from the boiler drains to the back of the washing machine with new braided stainless-steel ones.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a broken bathtub/shower water diverter - the diverter on the bathtub's downspout had broken off. We removed the broken downspout and found that it had a galvanized water supply line with a galvanized nipple that was almost flush with the tile wall. So, we sweated a short piece of copper pipe and a female copper fitting together, attached them to the existing galvanized piping, and this extended the piping out from the wall a little more. Then we screwed a new spout on and tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the two-handle bathtub/shower faucet valve. This would require us to cut an access in the shower wall, replace the shower valve (along with short sections of its hot- and cold-water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings), shower head, and downspout diverter, and add new handles along with stems, washers, seats, and escutcheons.
